This Personal data privacy policy describes the terms and conditions under which MB Diffusion, the company which runs the Agriaffaires and MachineryZone websites, collects, processes and protects your personal data in compliance with French law. We gather and use your your information in order to create your user’s account and provide our services, as well as to measure and improve our services.

Your rights under French Personal data privacy law

MB Diffusion takes the protection of your privacy and personal data very seriously. In compliance with French data protection law No.°78-17 of 6 January 1978, (the so-called Informatique et Libertés law), this site, and the personal data automatically processes by this site, are subject to compulsory reporting to the CNIL (the French national data protection agency: www.cnil.fr/english/).
Users are informed that the information they enter on the onsite forms are needed to meet their requests, and are intended for use by MB Diffusion, the party responsible for the data processing for administrative and commercial purposes, and, in some cases, for MB diffusions’ partners for business development purposes. By publishing their ad on the Agriaffaires site and partner sites, the user agrees to have their contact information, including their user name, postal address, and telephone number automatically published on the page of their ad in the sellers’ section. The user may choose to hide part or all of this information by purchasing an option called “Hiding contact details.” The user may update their contact details at any time by contacting the Customer service department at: contact-fr@agriaffaires.com or contact-fr@machineryzone.com. In compliance with the French data protection law of 6 January 1978 amended by the law of 6 August 2004, you have the right to access, rectify or demand the withdrawal of any personal data concerning you. To exercise these rights, simply email our Customer Service department: service clientèle.
Notwithstanding the above, MB Diffusion may disclose general statistic which do not name you, including demographic data and information on the user’s activities.
The user is informed of this and consents to their data being transferred within or outside the European Union for the purposes of services such as running ads in multiple publications. MB Diffusion does so lawfully by making the required reports to the CNIL and by signing contractual clauses guaranteeing adequate personal data protection as defined by EU legislation.
The user also undertakes to respect data protection laws and understands that violators may be prosecuted.
In particular, users must refrain from misusing any personal data they may become find via the site. This includes collecting and abusing another person’s personal data, or in any other way intruding on someone’s privacy or harming their reputation.

Length of data retention : The data and information are retained for as long as the user’s account is open. If the account is closed, the information will be archived for the period of time required by the laws in force..
